Welcome - this is my contribution to World Card Making Day.
I made it today, sharing the day with some from the States, as I did not get a chance to make one yesterday, the 6th October, here in the antipodes.
I used an image from Birds Cards, a freebie.
After printing it off, I cut it out using a Spellbinder labels 10 die, and coloured it using distress inks, and 'sparkle' pens, and then stippled Iridescent Medium over the 'sea' and the sails.
You can just see it here in this photo.
I mounted a layer of mesh from a vegetable bag over the blue card, and adhered the image over this, after adding some twine to one end. The featured panel was then mounted over a base of dark green.
Thanks for calling by - may your day be blessed.
I welcome your comments, they are always an encouragement.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous card, Maxine! I love the image and your coloring. I was studying the close up, thinking you had an embossing plate to give it the texture, then read of you using the netting. Inspired!! Very nice card. Blessings to you and Hubby!
