Welcome
I made a quick card today, in less that 30 minutes!!
I cheated a bit - the base was made yesterday when I was playing.
The base was sponged with distress inks, a stencil called Sea Foam by Artists Cellar laid over it, and then spritzed with water and blotted with a paper towel.
Paulette from Create With TLC had this graphic up for grabs today, so I downloaded it, sized and printed it, and coloured it with chalks.
The graphic was mounted on foam dots over some gold edged clear ribbon, and four flowers added to the other end of the ribbon, with a red rhinestone each to create the flower centres.
I want to send it to my grand-daughter as she recently made and sent me a card 'to make me happy' because I am due for some surgical maintenance.
Oh how I love this :-) It is one card that will be kept and treasured.

Maxine, what a lovely card to send to your grand-daughter .... that sentiment is so true (and so meaningful for your grand-daughter know) Sounds as though you had fun making your backing paper which has worked so well.
