Potted Topiary

Welcome.
The card I am sharing was inspired by this card by Carolyn King, and I was going to CASE it, but things did not go how I had hoped.

Firstly The background did not go as planned, so I used dp instead

The image was the same basic shape as Carolyn's, that and the curled corner, were  basically the only likenesses in the end, but I was glad of the inspiration.

I added an embossed sentiment to the side of the image.

And a flower to the bottom right corner, with a wee piece of gold ribbon peeking out. The base card was cream coloured, and the edges wee sponged with Bundled Sage distress ink.

On the inside I stamped the image again with orange and brown die inks.
(For some reason the camera made the card look blue, not cream.)

On the other side I embossed a rather fun sentiment

I also added a wee strip of the dp across the bottom.  It is almost unheard of me to decorate the inside of a card, so I was very pleased with this.
