Sewing - once more

Welcome

I have another sewing project to share - some pyjamas for one of the grandsons.  Being the doting grandma that I am it was no problem to take on the task, and thankfully they went together really well!!

This particular grandson has a very long torso and arms, so the pattern had to be adapted to fit,

I learnt when my children were young, that the easiest way to ensure they got this type of garment on the right way round was to put a wee tab in the centre back neck band,

or the elastic casing seam

So now this project is done and dusted, it is back to the studio this afternoon.

and then I will have some cards to share.

Thank you for visiting - any comments you may leave are deeply appreciated.
May your day be blessed

  1. Maxine, these are as cute as can be!! I love the pattern on the fabric and great job on the cuffs and bands on the legs. He's going to stay all warm and snuggly now.

  2. As you already know I am no stranger to sewing, both by hand and machine. I think your grandson is going to love his pajamas. I used to love when mother made me a pajamas with built in socks. They were super warm on cold nights. Love that pattern.

  8. Such fun- loving the fabric- and we have so much trouble finding the cuffs you have added... in the states they used to carry them, now I can only get them mail order. How sweet!
