Peaceful Greetings

Welcome

I would like to welcome two new followers to my blog,
Angela Conkin of  Heartly Handcrafted
and Diane Hasthorpe of  Tawny Inspirations
please pop over to their blogs to see their wonderful work.

I made this card in response to a challenge, but never got it linked up ...  a not uncommon occurrence I believe!

I sponged the 'sky' in Chipped Sapphire and Faded Jeans DI

After the ink dried (assisted by the heat gun) I embossed the image with detailed silver embossing powder, some of which caught on the sky and when heated, it now looks like millions of tiny stars in the background.

The last detail was to fill in the capital letters with a silver pen.

  8. I love that sentiment on a Christmas card. Very elegant! I have done that with silver embossing powder too, and missed a good few challenges. The intention is good, but Life has a habit of getting in the way! Kate x
