Welcome
It is my privilege to once again bring you a card designed for Word Art Wednesday, using the scripture art designed exclusively for them by
I started by printing out the scripture and cutting it into a banner shape and piercing it across the top. This was placed over two smaller banners.
In the lower right corner I stamped this nativity scene by Our Daily Bread Designs and coloured it with prisma colour pencils.
The final detail was to pierce the corner, and then mount the kraft layer over an orange base.
I apologise for the variation in the colour of the photos - I really don't know why it has - I put it down to the vagaries of the digital age.

Thank you for visiting - any comments you may leave are deeply appreciated
May your day be blessed.
Brilliantly designed card once again Maxine....super colours as well..

Hi Maxine...Thank you for the email and for never getting tired of checking out my Blog and leaving me lots of encouragement. As believers, we are to encourage one another on the goodness and faithfulness of God and also share the revelations of God in our day and time. I believe not one of us is going to survive without each other so, the Holy Spirit in us wants us to build up one another especially in these darkened times. We all need to stand in the Word of God each day to combat the mockery, threats that we receive from the world by bearing the name of Christ in us. Knowing that this life is temporal and what we have is eternal life as we hold fast to what Christ accomplished in our behalg . This is our blessed hope so, speak up and let them know who Jesus is no matter what the cost for we know that we already have the victory. Enjoy the day and talk to you soon.
ReplyDeleteI also want to thank you for creating such beautiful projects alongside us at WAW. This card is fabulous!
Hugs in Christ,

Your card turned out beautifully, Maxine. It looks like colored pencil work, and it gives a very nice effect. I'm always looking for new and creative ways to add my scripture to my cards, and this is a great idea that I just might need to use. I tend to do the same things over and over again, and I really need to learn to branch out of my little comfort zone. Great job, and thanks again for filling in for us. It's been a pleasure having you with us, and I appreciate your efforts on our behalf. May God bless you for being a blessing to us!
ReplyDeleteHugs,

Maxine, this is a wonderfully done card, and I'm especially partial to religious themed stamps. Well done on this one. Love that you did it on the kraft..it has a lovely Folk Art appearance. And the piercing was a pretty detail, but I love the bright orange & blue banners under that very appropriate word art banner. Great card, that symbolizes the true meaning of this nearing holiday. TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteWhat a great combination, love the nativity! I have had a nativity theme myself this week.
ReplyDeleteI linked over from the "Anything goes Word Art Wednesday Challenge" where I am participating too with Nativity Ornaments. Would love it if you'd stop by.

ReplyDeleteOh, Maxine, the message of Christmas doesn't get any clearer than this! I just love this WAW digital image, and you've made a beautiful card with the beautifully colored imagine that first Christmas! May we remember every day the real meaning of Christmas and seek to honor and glorify Him! So glad you've joined us for the ODBD Shining the Light challenge! And thank you for your inspiration and work at the Word Art Wednesday Challenge! Warm hugs!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful! I love the Nativity, love the sentiment and the way you displayed it on the banner, and the piercing is awesome! Oh la la!
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely Maxine - I love that image and the fabulous colours - perfect with the Kraft! {{{hugs}}}
ReplyDeleteMaxine, Happy you enjoyed the lights tour 'round here. With a small person around, you don't need all the temptation put in the way. I wish we had some little folks to enjoy seeing them. It's more fun to see the magic through a child's eye. But also we had to be watchful when ours was very tiny. Many years we just enjoy what the neighbors put out. Take care & hugs.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!!! Thanks so much for participating in our {PIN}SPIRATIONAL challenge!! Hope to see you again for our next challenge!!
