This months challenge at Creative Craft Cottage Challenge #30 has some inspirational pictures as a starting point for the Christmas theme.
I took the top right corner and translated it to the background on the white panel, after I had clear embossed the (now retired) Kiwistamping Christmas Tree image.

After I had painted it, I placed the card between clean copy paper and ironed the embossing off, which gives an almost sunken (3-D) look to the image when it is removed.

The ribbon was wound twice around the panel, forming a crossing towards one side, over which I glue-dotted the wee bow.

The corners of the white panel were rounded and then it was mounted over the red base to complete the card.

Maxine, this is so clean & so bright & cheery. Love this CAS and I need to try this 'reverse emboss' technique. It was in a Jennifer McGuire online class I took, and I never have given it a try. It looks fab on this terrific card. Well done! TFS & Hugs
