One Heart

Welcome

This card came together quite quickly - after it convinced me that it wanted to look like this, which is not how I had initially planned it!

It is basically a Z-fold card with a die half cut in the centre, and then the fancy cut layered over it. I used the s/b die set Swirled Heart

I used the fancy die as a stencil and sponged Versamark ink over it, then embossed it with silver. The extra texture was was a "creative opportunity".

The sentiment is an old one that I have used repeatedly, and here I silver embossed it

The paper is from an old pad, Romantique by Prima - it was one of my first purchases of a pad of design paper.

This is the card opened out.
The detailing comprised the rhinestones - which represent the years of the marriage, and a glitter purple pen run around the edge of the dp - it gives a subtle sheen to the edges. I must admit that this was another case of a "creative opportunity"

  12. Oh I DO love the way you've used this beautiful die. The colors are perfect for the occasion, and I am just loving the filigree on the heart. Perfect embossed in silver, and the dp sets off the romantic feel of the lovely anniversary card. Good thing you let the card dictate what happened, cause it turned out wonderful. TFS & Hugs
