Welcome
Continuing with the orders that I have, this one is for a
Rugby League loving 18 year old...
I went to G**gle Images, and found this image that I used as a background.
I printed it off, after sizing it, and chose to layer it over a chrome yellow and blue card, to match the colours on the ball.
The sentiment was embossed with some Holographic Silver ep.
The only other embellishment was the ribbon, placed in a V, like the design on the players jersey's, and black and white, which are our national colours.

What a great guy card! You're so creative finding cool images like that. And I like the sparkly sentiment!
ReplyDeleteLove this background, and the great Rugby theme of your card- LOVE the ribbon and the embossed sentiment in between the goal posts!
ReplyDeleteJust perfect for the occasion Maxine. I find google very helpful when I am asked for a specific theme that isn´t normally in my repertoire. Well done for bringing it all together so well. Kate x
ReplyDeleteRugby, that brings back many memories of skinned knees and bruises. I like the embossing powder effect. I kept all my bits and mixed them together and when embossed and magnified the colors were visible. This is a super card. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely creation with us this week at Word Art Wednesday on our 187th Challenge.
