A Watercoloured Rainbow.

Welcome

watercolor.bloghop

and trundelled along some of the blogs and was inspired, especially by Kristie

This afternoon I got to play - I started by rubbing Gelatos onto an acrylic block, spraying it with water, and 'stamping' onto wet watercolour paper - massive fail!!
To redeem it, I coloured directly onto the paper and smooched the colour around with my finger, then dried it.

I then sprayed some silver shimmer over it
 - and was quite heavy handed with it.

I had demonstrated cutting this poppy die the other day, and had it sitting on my desk, so applied it to the panel, which I had ripped off the main piece of paper and mounted on a black card base.

A white embossed sentiment and some clear rhinestones finished the card.
I really love how this card turned out, and am proud to link it to the hop.
