Welcome
I really enjoyed making this card for an order.
The image is a Sarah Kay digital sweetie that I coloured with my Prismacolor pencils.
The recipient is feminine and loves 'pink and frills', so after colouring I cut the image with an s/b's oval die, and layered it over a scalloped oval, touched with liquid pearls.
In this photo you can just see some of the WoS I added over the girls clothing and hat.
Some lace and pearls were added across the bottom of the image over the pink dp.
The sentiment was stamped, then embossed, and sponged using Tumbled Glass DI, and again cut and layered using die cut ovals with liquid pearls added.

A very sweet card, Maxine. Love all the pretty embellishments! And beautifully colored image!
ReplyDeleteWOW, Maxine. Your coloring skills really shine on this beautiful card. The shades of denim in her jeans, and all the soft coloring is just stunning. That soft sweet lace is such a lovely touch as well. You certainly have some amazing talent, and I'm so blessed that you choose to share your art with us. May God bless your week. I always LOVE seeing your cards.

Pretty card! This is one of my favorite Sarah Kay images! Nice colored. Jim has colored one of these images for me, I still need to get it out and try and figure out what to do with it. You have inspired me...
ReplyDeleteSimply adorable. Such a cute image and great coloring. Hope that your hand is about all healed up by now.
ReplyDeleteMaxine, Such an adorable image for sure, liking that little pinafore, the bellbottoms and patch. Are the flowers dwarf hollyhocks? The ovals really are lovely but the best of all is the lace with pearls. Thank you so much for taking time to post your very creative art with us this week at Word Art Wednesday, in our 198th challenge.

Such a great job on this card...Lovely colors and cute image. We are blessed that you joined our Challenge last week at Word Art Wednesday. Make sure you drop by again this week to link your family-friendly projects with us. Leaving you with God's Word in 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 and it says, "For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. "
