Welcome
I needed an anniversary card, and was a bit stumped as to how to go about it, as this is the last in a series of anniversary cards for the year...
I remembered the faux letter press technique I tried earlier in the year, and that there was one sample still in my 'promise' box - there were originally two hearts on the piece, but I was not really happy with them, so I trimmed out the better of the two to use. The difference with this piece is that I used Versamark ink and then embossed it using detail silver ep.
The tag was embossed with silver ep, and trimmed by hand and the edges sponged with violet ink.
The finishing details were ribbon (silver and purple) some silver sequins and some rather appropriate washi tape.
The background paper is some that I bought in a 'grab bag' type of purchase, and I have no idea where it is from.

WOW! your snippets really paid off tremendously in this lovely card. Very unusual with the embossed 'debossing', and I like it! Silver was the perfect choice with the subtle lilac shade & edging the tiny sentiment die was a nice detailed touch too. Love the brilliant purple of the skinny ribbon (or perhaps it is a wider ribbon with the white placed over?). A pretty effect, however you did it. The recipients will adore this! TFS & Happy wkend. Hugs

I still love those colours - even 11 years later, I might change a lot of things about our wedding day (weather being top of the list), but I think those colours will always look right to me!
