Duct Tape and Gears

Welcome

I made this card for a teen boy who has been mechanically minded from  a very young age.

I started by cutting the cog dies from a used aluminium pie plate, and then playing with alcohol inks to colour them.

I adhered the die cuts with silicone glue over a panel I had covered with duct tape and embossed.

The panel was edged with piercing and faux stitching in red.

The sentiment was embossed in silver and filled in randomly with red and silver pens.

I am linking this to:
The die cuts in particular really sparkle in the sunlight
