Welcome
This card is for the Challenge #19 at A Bit More Time To Craft
The image has been supplied by Ching-Chou Kuik and is called Girl In Spring
I coloured her with Prismacolor pencils, and for the first time ever, did green hair - the photo shows it as more yellow, but it is a limey green with darker touches on it.
I coated her frock with clear Wink of Stella and it looks like organza IRL, I also added Kindy Glitz to the edge of the butterfly wings.
I decided to keep her in a rectangle, but used the 'out of the box' technique in several areas as I did, and then distressed and sponged the edges with Memento Pear Tart ink.
I mounted the image panel over a mosaic of papers designed by Lozzy, the flowers and stripes, free papers. The final details were the rhinestones and some lace.
I am linking this to:
1 digi, 2 patterned papers, 3 embellishments (rhinestones, lace, glitter)
Thank you for visiting my blog - may your day be blessed

ReplyDeleteStunning Maxine, I just love the shimmer you added to your image...magical!! Just playing some catch up today after my week with Mum. Hope you had a wonderful week while I was away! hugs :)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and shimmery. I could tell from the first photo that she had been Winked by Stella. Usually you can't tell that except it up close photos. She must really shine! And so do you for making such a wonderful creation.
ReplyDeleteThat's so pretty.Maxine! Your beautiful colouring has really done justice to the gorgeous image. I love the touch of glitter and sparkle too. And the butterfly, of course!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet image, and bet you had fun with the green hair (yes, it does look more yellow!). Your pencil skills are awesome, and I liked the out-of-the frame treatment of the dress train. Very pretty Maxine. The WoS sparkle shows up even without enlarging the image on the blog! TFS & Happy wk ahead. Hugs
