Welcome
Here in the antipodes we celebrate Father's Day on the first Sunday in September, and this is the card I made for my husband.
I took the opportunity to break open my Crazy Cats stamps and dies.
The sentiment was stamped using some very cheap letter stamps from the local 'Warehouse'. I find the best way to use them is to stamp them individually, emboss them if that's what I am planning, cut them out and glue the finished word to the card.
The cat was stamped using the Misti, and coloured with Prismacolor pencils to look like the cat we lost earlier in the year. :-(
The cat and ball of yarn were mounted on a piece of DP that I had torn across the width of the card.

What a fab card for your other half. Love how you do the lettering but it seems a lot of hard work. At first I thought you cut them around each letter which would have taken forever.
ReplyDeleteI bet he loved it, especially as it was coloured to resemble your cat that you had. Sorry you lost him/her.
Hugs, Neet xx
fabulous card. I haven't used my set yet. Must get on with it!
ReplyDeleteAdorable card! Very creative way to do the sentiment!
ReplyDeleteAh Maxine, can see it on your blog, FB doesn't always show image properly, prob something to do with me refusing to put on their app. These Stamps are quite crazy and certainly bring a smile. Love the DP layered like that.
