Sequins and a Bug

Welcome

This shaker card was inspired by a class I took at a recent craft show, which made the shaker element very simple to make.

The wee girl I made this for turned four, and loves sparkly, shiny things,

So the wings of Bitsy Bug Dot (a freebie from a A Day For Daisied) were covered in Kindy Glitz and she was layered over a silver die cut.

The sentiment was gold embossed and ribbon mounted after die cutting.

The sequins were a mix of heart shaped and round faceted ones, and there was a wee bit of purple glitter added too.

The wee one loved her card, and wanted to get the sequins out - thankfully I had used a strong piece of acetate from some packaging.
