Welcome
This is not my usual card style, but I was gifted a slew of small cross stitch kits a while ago, and I finally got this one made up - I say finally because for sometime I could not stitch due to problems with my hands, which are now thankfully resolved
I started with some water colour paper and dribbled the various colours across/down it - it took a while to get it how I wanted it to look, but it was worth persisting. I then flicked some colour across the whole piece of paper to complete the background.
I trimmed the stitched piece to the size I wanted and mounted it onto some white card with Perfect medium, then onto the base.
The sentiment was stamped onto a snippet of the base card and copper embossed to match the stitched sentiment, and hand cut into the banner shape and mounted using foam dots to give some dimension.
