Welcome
I was thrilled to have a card recognized in January by Crafting By Design, and then to be invited to be a Guest Designer for them. The theme I chose was to use three patterned papers, and that is the challenge for this week.
I decided to use the three papers on this sympathy card, making the three banners from co-ordinating paper from the Kaisercraft 'After Five' collection, and adhered them inside the border made by embossing with a M/B Stitched Rectangle.
I stamped and silver embossed the sentiment, again placing it within the border.
I decided it needed something more, and chose the narrow silver lame ribbon, which I threaded through the top layer inside the embossed border, which gives the impression of another layer.
The edges were then sponged with Memento London Fog ink, the top layer was mounted over fun foam to give some subtle dimension.
