Welcome
This card was made for a three year old boy's birthday - and what small boy is not fascinated with creepy crawlies, and snails in particular!
I had coloured the snails as part of the 30 day Marker Challenge. and decided to put them to good use on this card.
After fussy cutting them I adhered them on the black base, and used a metallic pen with a
co-ordinating colour for their trails.
The greeting was stamped and embossed using a sparkling green ep, and then the letters were coloured with a glitter ball point.
The black panel was mounted over a white glitter card, and then onto a blue base. The final details were the silver stars.

ReplyDeleteMaxine, this is an adorable card - snail mail is the best. ;) And it reminds me of "slow" which is what I was in telling you Happy Birthday.

ReplyDeleteVery cute snails, Maxine. I like the way you've given them their own trail.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun card, Maxine, perfect for a small child. I used to teach four and five year olds and they loved anything to do with snails, worms, spiders and other bugs! x

ReplyDeleteThis is super cute, Maxine! I hate snails IRL, but just love stamps of them and think they're adorable. It seems weird, but I guess we do the same with mice, right?! The little guy will love his card!! Hugs, Darnell
