Welcome
I would like to extend a warm welcome to Cathy S who has started to follow my blog - I would love to know if you have a blog, Cathy, so I could visit you in return.
I apologise if I have not visited you of late, but these last few weeks life seems to have broadsided me with one thing after another. This week is also looking as though whatever spare time I thought I may have to visit blogs is rapidly disappearing...
This is a very simple card I made for a friends wedding anniversary.
I had come across a NBUS, 3D embossing folder and decided to try it out.
After embossing it I lightly coloured the raised parts of the panel with chalks/pastels using a
cotton bud/q-tip.
I love the hint of Steampunk in this with the gears at the base of the design.
I then heat embossed the sentiment in the centre of the design, mounted the panel onto a deep pink base and called it done.
The couple loved the card.
