Water Coloured and Embossed Florals

Welcome

Just a quick post tonight to scoot into the #TheDailyMarker30Day Colouring challenge

I wanted to make a card in a hurry as an encouragement, and on looking through my "Oops This Didn't Work Out" box, I came across this background made a year or more ago....  there was a white panel on the bottom right, but ended up using that as dimensional layer.

I found the stamp I had used to create the clear embossed background, coloured it with markers, spritzed it and stamped it using my Misti, and then repeated, using a slightly bigger piece of card than the original...

Once I was happy and the image dried, I then stamped over it with versamark ink and clear embossed

I found the sentiment from a magazine set, and repeated the same process, then cut that into a banner

This is an angled shot to show how the clear embossing catches the light.  There is a wee bit of iridescent powder in the background embossing.

I stamped the  ODBD scripture stamp on the inside in a slightly paler mauve ink.
A few rhinestones for highlights and it was ready to go.

I am linking this to:
I love heat embossing as it is one of the first techniques I learnt, and it is so versatile
