Welcome
I loved how this card turned out with all it's sparkle
I started with a piece of alcohol inked yupo paper and decided to place it behind the cut out corner on the silver card. using this Memory Box Die
I then cut the solid Effera butterfly out of a snippet of the coloured alcohol paper, and then a Pipi butterfly from a snippet vellum, and secured the two layers using Glossy Accents over the body which had been cut in kraft, again from a hoarded carefully treasured snippet of paper..
The sentiment and butterfly trail were stamped in purple ink, that I also sponged all the edges in.
The rose die cut is the one element I am not that happy with, but it is what it is...

ReplyDeleteGorgeous card, Maxine. The alcohol inked paper is so pretty. I think the rose die cut finishes your card off perfectly. I had to smile when I read your blog post title.... I had a vision of a drunk butterfly flying round in circles! LOL!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful Maxine. I love the shine on the alcohol paper, and anything with butterflies is good with me. I thought the element was more of a swirl than a rose, but it is just right for the space it fills. Kate xx
