Welcome
This card was made up from 'bits' on my desk.
I am not sure where the bird image came from - I think it may have come from a magazine
I popped it inside a Seth Apter Die cut that I had coloured with Bronze Inka Gold Paint, then mounted that on some deep green embossed paper, from the Kaisercraft Botanicals Pad.
The sentiment was another magazine freebie, stamped in Espresso ink and mounted over some florists ribbon.
A few gems on the corners and the outside was finished. I finished the inside with this tag from the same paper collection.

What a unique card Maxine! I am loving that frame you put your bird in. The bird is such a pretty image and you have colored it up so well. I love love this color combo together and that embossing you have done. The gems add a little something, something. Loving that tag as well that you used on the inside. Well done! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteLove the grunge look and the fabulous deep colour of the green and the bronze inka gold paint. The tag looks great for the inside too. Wonderful card Maxine x. Amazing what you've made from the bits on your desk....
ReplyDeleteOh this is pretty! I've seen those Seth Apter dies used with some of the new Embossing powders (but different from the stuff we're used to). And they looked magnificent. It's lovely to see it used like you did with this pretty bird, and Inca Gold product. Always amazes me at some of the images that folks outside the USA get in the magazines. I've not seen that many card magazines of late. I guess most are on-line or something. Well done. TFS & Hugs Oh yes, I like the interior tag treatment too.
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely bird image Maxine and works really well set withing the die cut frame. It's really lovely to see you at Stamping Sensations, my thanks for joining in.
