Stencilled Autumnal Tones

Welcome

I would like to give a shout out to one of my long time followers who follows on bloglovin' rather than blogger, and that is Fran of  Scallops and Swirls. Thank you for your loyalty Fran!!

This weeks Word Art Wednesday's scripture has a thanksgiving theme, and as it is Autumn/Fall in America, I used autumnal colours for my card

I made the background by stippling various inks through the STAMPlorations  Leaf Print stencil, and also around the scripture, which was cut using a Sizzex Stitched Oval die

The addition of bling and some ribbon accented the scripture

Here you can see a close up of the stippling - I find I get better results stippling with a stiff brush with stencils, rather than sponging.

  2. Ah Maxine, just brilliant card, saw it over on WAW!! congrats for being on DT. Think that must’ve slipped past me! Curious we’ve both used STAMPlorations mask, but I’ve not linked up like you, I forget.
... if can add it will do .. on my mobile.
Interested you use stippling I use small circle distress sponges for mine.
Whatever works. I’ve never tried stippling but brushes don’t work well if lots of wee but like heart one. I’ve weak hands so maybe that is why I can manage with sponges. Sometimes having gentle hands is handy! ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜„ same for brayering.
    Lord bless, dear sis.
