Tagged and Layered

Welcome

This is the second card I made for Word Art Wednesday this week, using the free scripture word art available on their site.

I was inspired by some paper I recently purchased - a 6x6 pack called Oceania by Craft Wise.
It has some purple tints in it, as well as the silver lines.

I decided to trim the printed scripture into a tag, and layered it over aqua and purple tags as well, after sponging the edges with purple on the white,  Broken China DI on the aqua layer, and silver on the purple tag.

The tags were layered and adhered together, then layered onto the base with some muslin underneath them, being carefully placed to look as though they were held by the  silver and white bakers twine.  The twine had been wrapped around the base, and layered over a snippet of TH tissue paper.  A wee bow finished the tags.

The inside of the card was (again) finished with some purple patterned washi tape.

  27. Both card and tag are wonderful. A "two fer" is always special. Finished insides of cards is always a plus especially if you are the one receiving the card. It says the recipient is special.
