Welcome
This weeks challenge at Word Art Wednesday is sponsored by Stamp Simply Clear Stamps.
They very generously gave the DT members a choice of stamp set to work with, and I chose the Thinking Of You Rose stamp and die set, although ironically I did not use the die on this card!!
I started by masking and stamping the column of three roses, and then coloured them with my Poly Chromo pencils, using four shades of yellow in the petals and three of green in the leaves.
I loved the sentiment, and made a feature of it with by off setting the M/B stitched circles die cuts
When I came to mount the image panel I added the ribbon and perfect bow, of which I am very proud, ahem, cough cough, layered it over a pair of snippets of blue card under each edge, and then mounted it all onto a chrome yellow card base.
The inside I kept simple with washi tape and a birthday greeting.
