Fairy Wishes

Welcome

I made this card early in the year for one of my great-grand daughters.

The stamp is a freebie from a magazine that I have had for years and never used, so I inked it up with Memento Pearlescent Orchid, which has a slight sheen to it, and also 'winked' her wings

I 'grounded' her on an acanthus leaf stamped in green and coloured with Prismacolor pencils.  The image panel was cut with a M/B stitched rectangle die, adapted to fit, and layered over some gold edged organza ribbon.

The sentiment was embossed with platinum embossing powder on a hand cut banner on a snippet of white card, then layered, slightly offset, over another snippet of pink

The paper is a very old Prima pad - this was one of my first pads of paper, way back!!

Sorry about the fuzzy image,  I stamped this on the inside of the card using stamps from the set and the same ink as the fairy.

  13. Great work Maxine using up your NBUS, I partly attacked a bit of mess to one side of craft room, found some NBUS there too!
Smiled at your memory off where your paper comes from, I have that ink too which you’ve inked the fairy on, looks lovely. Am sure it was really loved... however I’m astounded that you’re a great grandmother!
Thanks for being a blessing, and may God bless you too.

  18. Such a pretty card and so appropriate for a young lady. I love the way you have 'winked' her wings - I tried 'winking' something in my cloth book but it hardly shows - might resort to Stickles. I also love the way you have coloured the leaf that she is standing on - a beautiful use of shades of green.
    God Bless, Neet xx

  19. What a lovely card Maxine - I adore all the sparkle and the ink pad you used (Pearlescent Orchid) is one of my very Memento favurites - I have a box full of their dew drop shaped pads and find myself drawn to that one time and time again! And such pretty paper as well. Love it!

    Hugs
