Give a Man a Fishing Rod...

Welcome

We have several keen fishermen in the (wider) family, and I could not resist this die.


I cut the image from white card stock and water coloured it


The sky was sprayed with Lindy's spray, but it blotched, so I used my finger to sweep the ink from side to side and my background was created!  
You can just see the sparkle in the left of the photo below.


The water was a piece of mulberry paper torn across the top, and it had some silver florist wrap layered over it before gluing it to the base.  The 'hill' was also a piece of torn paper.


The sentiment was embossed with Platinum ep, and the clouds die cut, and lightly shaded at the bottom to mimic the shadows .

I used a bright yellow base for the card to intimate that it was a sunny day!


I finished the inside with a strip of fishy washi.

  15. Aww.. that's just amazing! The die is actually very cute but your water and the hill takes the cake! The water is brilliant work of art. And that fishy washi tape.. just the right embellishment!
