Welcome,
A few weeks ago I was 'playing' with my sprays, and ended up with a piece of card covered with Lindy's Sweet Violet, Purple, Teal spray and some Perfect Red Perfect Pearls Spray, which was one of the first sprays I ever owned... I die cut this coloured card to make the sentiment panel.
I layered that over a rich butter toned cream cardstock, then came to a grinding halt.
In this next photo you can see some of the shimmer and shine the sprays give.
I then decided a flower was called for, and whilst fossicking in my stash came across these die cut felt flowers that I received from MariLynn , They were layered and attached with a gem headed brad, then layered over some sparkly ribbon, tied in a simple knot in the middle - I originally wanted to make a bow with the ribbon, but the card had other ideas!
The butterflies were punched from the coloured cardstock, and had nail art gems attached for bodies, which matched the 'silver' rhinestones on the corners.
I finished the inside with a strip of the sprayed paper, and this photo really caught the sheen of it.

Lindy's sprays are always so stunning and the results here show how pretty a result is.xx
ReplyDeleteAn original colour combination and this one works good! Love that die cut (have it myself, but forget to use it more often) it is a warm wish! Hugs, Gerrina
ReplyDeleteGreat use of the leftovers Maxine, I usually only think to do that one it's reached the bin in a scrunched up state.

How pretty is this with the sparkly panel and the sweet sentiment. The flower is beautiful and what I like most is how the organza ribbon gives the effect of leaves around the flower. Super card.
