Clearing my Desk???

 Welcome

The fortnight has rolled around again the once more there is a new challenge over at Word Art Wednesday -
This time sponsored by DRS Designs who are gifting a $20 gift voucher to the winner, along with this berry wreath stamp!

I have none of their wonderful stamps, and ended up printing off the scripture and mounting it over scraps off my desk... not that it cleared much of my desk!

I printed out the scripture, which is a freebie over at Word Art Wednesday, and die cut it with a Tim Holtz Stitched Oval die, embossing it, and then colouring it with two inks, Espresso over Ladybird Red, with my blending brushes to tie it in with the background colours, before I removed it from the die.

This panel is tissue glued over card, and is a remnant from another card - it is a very pretty pale aqua colour with silver glitter in it.  The butterflies were previously cut  oddments on my desk.

The music was from an old hymnal, and the scraps were sitting in my promise box, so I trimmed them to fit top right and bottom left.

Bottom right panel is a snippet from a Brusho's piece, which I had used some copper Sprinklets on...
I tied a ribbon around this panel to balance the butterflies.

The inside was finished with another scrap of the music paper, and the edges of the white panel had been run over the same red ink pad that was used around the scripture oval

  16. I am impressed with your blending with the brushes, I have sent for some and eagerly await them to see if my blending can be a bit lighter than what I usually end up with. The say you have done it really enhances the scripture and makes for a beautiful card.
