Distressed Brusho's Galaxy

Welcome

Today's post is part of my DT commitment to Word Art Wednesday, and the new challenge starts today, with  Heartfelt Creations as our sponsor, and they are donating as the prize for the (random) winner,
a generous $25 Gift Card

The beautiful scripture is available free on the website too, but it is not compulsory to use it.

The background was a piece of watercolour paper that I had 'played' with Brusho's on, including some gold powder, which does not show well in this photo, but there is one later that really picks up the shine

I decided to add some texture by distressing the edges of all the layers, and then inking it with (Memento) Mediterranean Blue ink.

The wee moon topper is from the Kaisercraft Sky Watch paper pad, and I covered it with some glossy accents to add some shimmer and dimension

There was more sparkle inside where I used some blue glitter scotch tape.

  2. What a lovely card Maxine. I love the effect you got with your Brushos and the addition of that topper with the Glossy Accents on really does finish it off beautifully. Beautiful words too.

Like the way you have used brusho's.
I have never worked with them, but my parcel arrived today from Lavina stamps, so will have a play tomorrow.
