Butterflies and Ribbon

Welcome,

I'm afraid that life has become very busy, and will be for the next month or more, so I may not be blogging, or visiting, very much over the next few weeks.

I enjoyed making this card.  My starting point was the lovely card from a Prima pad of wee cards.

Once I had decided that that would be the focal point, I then had to work out what would go with it...

So there was the greeting, embossed in gold and die cut, with the edges sponged with Tea Die D.I., which I also used to sponge all the edges with.

The patterned paper has been in my stash for a long time - I am not sure where it came from.
The butterflies were cut from some silver card using a wee die that cuts various ones all at once - again I have had it 'forever' - I think it is one from Stampin' Up.

I added lace across the bottom of the striped panel, and two layers of ribbon on the mini-card, tying a wee knot with the thinner ribbon, catching both layers.
The base of the card is some Kraft cardstock I managed to buy - it's as scarce as hen's teeth here!

The inside was (sort of) randomly stamped with a butterfly stamp - again in the Tea Die ink.
