Welcome
I meant to be back waaaaaaay before this, but real life has a habit of butting into my plans!
I enjoyed making this card.
I started with a digi owl image, a freebie from Jane's Doodles, and coloured him with metallic pens
The sentiment was computer generated, printed on vellum, and embossed with WOW black Glitter ep
This shows the sparkle of the metallics
I trimmed the image panel down, and mounted it onto black card that I had wound gold thread around, and also splattered with gold paint to make a starry sky impression.
That was them mounted over dark blue card
This inside had a strip of gold metallic dotted washi down one side.

ReplyDeleteAnyhow I am here now and I love this owl. He is so colourful and I just love how his waistcoat/chest sparkles so. Lovely idea to use parchment for the sentiment and once again, you finish your cards off so beautifully - love the inside strip.
