Welcome
This is another CASE from a magazine, using the dies and stamps that came with it - I used the concept of the two rows of daisies, and the two layers of petals, (rather than the one layer I used here), but then I diverged to my own design.
I embossed the background using the enclosed embossing folder, but as the design on the folder was only on one end, I turned the paper and partially ran it through again..
(The original was not embossed)
I used my own colour scheme, and I added the double fishtail ends to the banner.
Loved that wee bird and had to include it!
I layered the daisy cuts as shown, but added a glitter layer for some extra glam!
I also popped the final snippets of the dark card that I used for the flower centres under the opposing corners to add some interest and definition to the layering.
The inside was finished with white card and washi tape.

ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely card Maxine - and the glitter certainly does work on here. My favourite has to be the wee bird holding the banner as she flies across the front of the card.
