Welcome
This card uses another Brusho background - only this was a 'print' off a much stronger coloured panel.
There is a wee hint of silver on this background - from memory I splattered some silver spray on the first panel, and some of it transferred to this one.
The image is a Concorde and 9th stamp, Uplifting Thoughts, that I have had for waaaaay too long before using...
I stamped it in Memento Grape ink, then fussy cut it out.
I didn't want to distract from the floral 'fall', so the sentiment was embossed onto a strip of vellum using silver ep and then layered across the main panel
The butterfly, sadly now discontinued, was cut from silver glitter paper . I popped it directly over one of the blooms, and added the silver gem onto the body.
Further silver rhinestones and some silver scotch tape finished the front of the card
The inside was finished with gold dotted washi tape.

So fabulous! I've been meaning to get out my brushos and play a bit. I love the idea of pulling a print to get more muted colors. I'll have to try it. Thanks for the inspiration!

ReplyDeleteI like how you got this paler background with the Brushos. I must try that at some time.
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty flowers they are and they look so nice in that shade of purple - one I have not go but might need to have. They look so good on that pink background and i do like your idea of using vellum to stamp your sentiment on. The butterfly just sits right and emphasises the silver used in other parts of the card.
lovely!
Blessings, Neet xx
Beautiful how you used the glitters; just enough and not to much; so beautiful! Hugs, Gerrina
