Welcome
I very much enjoy using my Katzelkraft Rat stamps, and I let this one take centre stage on this card,
made for a young man.
I kept the colouring to simple touches of grey, yellow and gold throughout the card
The background was made by embossing two dies from the Hero Arts Hexagon Infinity dies set onto the card, masking the resultant shape, then smooching/splattering London Fog ink over the rest of it
This panel was mounted over a layer of gold paper, then onto the dark grey base.
I finished the inside with a silver grey patterned washi tape

(I made my mark with pencil colouring and ink splattering)
A super card for a young man Maxine, I love the sentiment - a great font.

Smiles all around with this unusual birthday card. Love the fact it looks like he was caught with his fingers in the cookie jar. Smile!!!

Ooo . . . very cool!! I love how you masked off the center within the embossed frame; it looks really fabulous against that awesome background! Thanks for playing with The House That Stamps Built.
ReplyDeleteLove London Fog - one of my favourite inks to use and here it is used to perfection. Also am a big fan of Katzelkraft images and this rat is certainly a brilliant one to use. He looks as if he is very guilty stealing the cheese with that crafty look over his shoulder.
ReplyDeleteGrey and yellow go so well together and, of course, we have the 'Maxine touch' with the ribbon on the inside. It always finishes a card off perfectly but is something I always forget to do.
God Bless
