Anniversary Love Birds

Welcome

I made this card some months ago, and had it on my file which I have with me in hospital... yes the 'bug' I had was not what the family had, but rather a massive chest infection.... but I am starting to recover!!

I started with a Brusho background on watercolour paper that I made one day when playing with them

I stamped the love birds and flower spray from a freebie magazine set, and coloured with watercolours.
I tried to stamp the floral spray directly onto the background, but messed up, hence it is stamped on white and fussy cut.... The sentiment was also from the set.
I cut the image with a hexagon from an infinity set by Hero Arts, and mounted it over dark green

From memory I also used some Brushos Pearl SprinkleIT powder, which shows here as a slightly deeper green, but in real life, it sparkled beautifully.
I ran a deep green ink panel around the edge of the  main panel which was mounted over a dark green base

I used an old anniversary stamp on the inside, and a snippet of the background paper cut into a banner shape, and edged in the same deep green ink.

I will link this to:
