Steampunk Pussy Cat

Welcome

I discovered this image as a freebie last month - I found it on the last day it was available, and was able to download it from here, the Gecko Galz Steam Punk Challenge - they have a free image each month.

I sized the image and printed it, and distressed and sponged the edges with Tea Dye DI.
The mat behind the image was also distressed and sponged with the same ink, and I embossed some gear images on the corners that would be visible with Copper EP.

I also added Glossy accents over the lens's of the glasses
As it was a birthday card, I embossed the vertical sentiment down the one side

To create a subtle background I took some random gear images and stamped over the card with Versamark ink, then brushed on bronze perfect pearls

In the bottom right corner I added a die cut of cogs in a mat finished bronze card

Thi inside was finished with some washi tape that kept with the theme.

  12. Such a lovely card this is Maxine. Very posh! I really like the image which is super CUTE. This is the third time cats are coming to me: first time on a card then an acrylic painting with a cat was gifted to me and the third time, I saw a cat in real life outside the community centre where I went to get my second jab. Infact the real life cat was very similar to your cat image.
Certainly, there is a message here.

Hope you and yours are well,

    Monica
