Tea and a Verse

Welcome

Today is the start of a new challenge at Word Art Wednesday
And our wonderful sponsor is Stamp Simply, with a generous prize of either two stamp sets,
or a duo set of stamps and dies.
For my card I used the Coffee or Tea stand alone set of dies

I decided to make a side step card, using the main panel for the wonderful scripture, which is available free over on the Word Art Wednesday site.   After die cutting it with an (extended) stitched rectangle die, I sponged it with Concorde & 9th Grapefruit ink

I then die cut and shaded the tea cup, and added the two steam swirls coated with Glossy Accents and added it to the back 'step'.

The word tera was cut three times, twice from white card and once from the peach coloured base,  and stacked and glued together, offsetting the top layer slightly.  This was coated with clear Wink of Stella, but the photo does not show it.

On the front step I added this wee swirl of pearls.
The paper was all from the Kaisercraft  Rose Avenue 6x6 pad.

  10. Very imaginative card, Maxine well done, I rarely use special fold designed cards, as not greatly into them, but this is lovely as it the verse, showcased so well!
Think it gives also with the verse in Prov “Wisdom is the principal thing, but also with wisdom get understanding”. Both are of God so may we seek Him alone that we might know them daily in our lives.
Thanks for Sharing, God bless and keep you safe, and all those you love, prayer hugs Shaz in Oz.x

  16. Such a beautiful card. I like the scripture you used and the teacup which is perfect for this card. You chose everything so well, even down to the fancy paper you used, it all coordinates. The die that cut the word 'tea' is lovely script and makes the whole card very elegant.
A really successful side step card.
    Blessings, Net xx
