A Christmas Card - at last

Welcome

A special welcome to Jawad, my newest follower.

As intended yesterday, here is my Christmas card for this year...

I kept to a traditional colour scheme of red green and gold,
and featured the wonderful tree stamp from the Sweet 'n' Sassy O Holy Night set. stamped onto some white snippets, and die cut, then layered over a green snippet, trimmer to give just a small border.

The background was created by mixing iridescent paste with Brutus Monroe Phonebook ink spray, and using the ARTplorations Confetti Circles stencil

A wee piece of red bakers twine featured across the top - in some cases I used a piece of gold lame ribbon when the stencilling had not quite gone right ...

  11. Dearest sis, thank so very much, Maxine, I’m the happy recipient of one of these cards and I was impressed on pulling it out of the envelope. It’s hanging up with others! I went to do one for you as were in my list but then realised new address and then didn’email to find it out at the time so am sorry.

Thank you for your faithfulness in commenting on both my blogs, you do cheer my heart - especially my Christian one, as not many do. It’s deeply appreciated. 😃💕 was impressed at your use of the gold shimmer stencil background and also that beautiful sweet and sassy stamp. I have few but they’re hard to get here too. Well done and thank you!

Thanks for Sharing, God bless and keep you safe, and all those you love, hugs Shaz in Oz.x

  16. Some people are so clever and whoever designed this stamp is up there amongst them. What a lovely way to portray such beautiful words. the addition of the bakers twine and the little touches of gold are all this needs to make it a luxurious card for someone.
Yes, it only needed a simple greeting on the inside and 'blessings' are perfect.
May I wish you a Happy, Healthy and Blessed New Year Maxine.
    God Bless, Neet xx

  19. Hi Maxine, a superb Christmas card for the year, I felt I was cheating a little not making all different ones all year and batch made many. Sad to hear that Omicron is making an entrance into the New Zealand community, one person who knowingly went out with it caused over 3000 people in the area they visited to catch covid and last heard they had been charged and fined under the health orders here. Currently over 119,000 active cases in NSW and we are trusting them all to remain in isolation.... Have a wonderful week... Megan
