But First, Coffee

Welcome

I needed a Mother's Day card just as the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog hop started, and I found this freebie here on Taylor Made 4U, (with the coupon COFFEE,) which would be appropriate for the recipient.
The freebie is one on a sheet of four, designed to be used as note cards...

I printed off the page, then trimmed out this one, and also computer generated the sentiment  and printed it on vellum.

The image was added to a larger piece of card on which I had created a border using Vintage Photo DI,
It was then adhered to a white base - I secured the ends of the vellum between the layers

The inside was finished with a strip of Rose Gold Washi tape

  10. So many need their coffee to start the day, lots of coffee lovers out there! I'm not a huge fan of coffee, but will drink it a little bit. I love your card! The image is fun and make a great Mother's Day card for someone who loves their coffee. You got great deep coverage with the Vintage Photo ink, it makes a beautiful border for your image. Love how you did your sentiment on the velum too, it doesn't distract from the image, but yet you see it clearly. Well done Maxine! Hugs, Brenda
