Welcome
Today I am sharing a card for a young man.
My starting point was some paper from the Gizmo Escapades pack by Imagine If (a New Zealand firm), and some of the cut outs from the same pack
Over the top right corner of the paper I stencilled some cogs, using this stencil in C.P Aquatini ink and embossed it
The other layers were cut-outs from the paper pack, and the chipboard element under the brad came in the pack also.
I added some gold and copper highlights to the light bulb, then masked off the background and lightly sprayed the bulb with T.H. Flickering Candle mica spray.
The clock face had a layer of Glossy Accents in the centre.
The sentiment (an old and well used magazine freebie) was gold embossed
The inside of the card was layered with white card and the edges run over the ink pad, and the corner stencilled with part of the stencil again.

I like all the techniquea you used! Gives it a bit industrial and vintage and still not to dark effect! He will like it! Hugs, Gerrina

Perfect stencilling and embossing. Great card. I struggle with masculine cards, so perhaps steampunk is something I should try. THis is really fun.
