Mid-Month Favourite Colours

Welcome

It's time for We Love Stamping mid-month inspiration in the January  Favourite Colours Challenge.

Please note there is a slight change to the rules
Can we please draw your attention to a change with regard to entries using Instagram. As this format does not offer the option to add a working link back to our challenge, in future they will not be eligible and deleted. We are doing this to be fair to the majority of entrants who do comply with this requirement.

This time I started with a fun green bubble background, and augmented it with a teal green card base
 - I love using green in my cards

This wee mermaid was a freebie I found on line

I painted her, and her wee fishy friend, in twinkling H20's

Added a split sentiment embossed in sparkle silver ep

I added a few large flat 'dew drop embellishments after taking most of the photographs, but they are in the top photo

  17. This is so pretty Maxine and I love the background and how much it actually looks like water. I'm always looking for a nice water background and might give this a go.

  18. New question Maxine, did you use patterned paper or create this background yourself? Either way it's gorgeous but if it's one you created, I'll give it a try. I did some searching but haven't come up with anything yet which made me ask if you have a technique for it (thought you must because you have a technique for everything!)

  19. You know....I've never actually seen a mermaid in real life, but if I ever did, I'll just bet she would look beautiful and shiny like yours. This is SO sweet. Thanks for sharing with us at Word Art Wednesday, my friend. Please let me know if you're interested in being a Guest Designer for me again. I do miss you.

  22. I am loving bubble background on this adorable mermaid card Maxine! I still haven't tried this bubble technique yet, but sure need too. Your sweet mermaid is very shimmery since you painted her with the twinkling H20's, love that simmer and shine! Love how you split the sentiment as well. I love green too, but then again, I don't think I've met a color I don't like, but green is high on my list of colors. LOL Hugs, Brenda

  23. I rarely use my Twinkling H2O's these days but when i saw this it reminded me that it is time for me to get them out again. Perhaps my little girls need to have some sparkly clothes on in the not too distant future.
That is a lovely background, perfect for your little mermaid who is so sweet and so beautifully coloured. A super card Maxine.
    Blessings, Neet xx
