Sunflowers and a Lab

Welcome

A fun card for a younger person who loves dogs...

I started this using a 3-d embossing folder of sunflowers  by Nellie Snellen.
After embossing the white panel I watercoloured the fence and flowers, then brushed ink onto the sky and between the fence palings.

The sentiment is from Hero Arts and was clear embossed over blue ink, and the banner hand cut and mounted on foam dots

The dog image I found online, it was a freebie that I intended to acknowledge (as requested) but I have just thrown out the paper with the information on it.
After sizing and printing the image, it was fussy cut, tucked behind the fence and the head popped up on foam dots

  1. Always love Sunflowers, they brighten the dullest of days, but that Lab pops our at me and overshadows the blooms!

  9. Dear Maxine well done definitely a fun card for a young one who loves dogs and the lab peeking through is a winner.

Its turning to winter like now at night and heater just on for wee while to take chill off room. Winter is my least fav but autumn is a fav so enjoying it while I can. Very blessed here anyway as rare to even get a frost.. too close to ocean. Pray you're well each day..
Thanks for sharing, and may God bless you and keep you and all whom you love safe and well.
Prayer hugs, Shaz in Oz. X

  10. I've been through the cards that I've missed that you have made Maxine and they are amazing! My favorite being the hen/chicken card. These sunflowers and the lab is so cute and clever. I wouldn't have know this was an embossing folder if I had not read it. Nice job with the coloring! I bet this younger person loved this birthday card! Hugs, Brenda
