Industrial Grunge Meets Steam Punk

Welcome

Warning - Photo Heavy Post!!
I will try and keep my words few :)

This was made for a  Steam Punk fan.
The background was created from a textured card, embossed with a Tim Holts Industrial folder which I had wiped Versamark ink over before using, then I brushed copper Perfect Pearls over the embossed panel.  Love the grungy result.

The ephemera are from a local (New Zealand) design called 3/4 Designs

The vertical stamp was embossed onto a snippet of smooshed card - I think it was Catherine Pooler Queen for a Day ink, very very dilute.

The details on the flowers is fantastic, so here is a close up

A close up of the texture in the background panel

The insert also had some ephemera.

Again, a close up

  13. That background is lovely and very appropriate for Steampunk.
I love Steampunk - when you think of it it works for either male or female. Yes, you can even get away with roses and butterflies for a man and cogs and wheels for a woman.
    Lovely card.
