Welcome
I would like to extend a welcome to my newest follower, Anke of Anke's Stamp Magic. She has a lovely blog showcasing her beautiful work.
Today post is the reminder post for We Love Stamping Challenge for June, where the theme is Anything stamped goes, with an optional twist of CAS.
The image was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink, as was the sentiment.
The image was coloured with Polychromo pencils, and a wobbly frame drawn around the card with a fine line pen
The inside was finished with some strips of gold Washi tape
I am linking this to:
A lovely serene beach feel Maxine and nice idea finishing with Washi.

This is lovely, Maxine. It's such a perfectly true image of what we see when we visit the lake, ocean, etc. It's peaceful and heart-warming. Great job as always, my friend.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Karen
that wobbly hand drawn frame is a brilliant finishing touch. I am never brave enough to do that. Lovely colouring too xx
ReplyDeleteLovely and peaceful moment in your card!
ReplyDeleteOn the other day 6 seagulls attacked me when I was swimming on the lake,
it was like in the Hitchcock's movie, grrrr;-))m
ps. I survived with no hits!
The wobbly frame is a great idea and the overall look is a perfect CAS design.
ReplyDeleteI like that image and you did a great job coloring it!
ReplyDeleteI do like this super CAS card! The bird reminds me that it is just a little bit less hot at the beach... Hope to go there soon again! Hugs, Gerrina

ReplyDeleteI love the hand drawn wonky frame. Such a peaceful birthday card. Thanks so much for playing with us at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely card Maxine. I do think 'seaside' themed cards always appeal to the majority and this seagull sitting on the wooden stoops is lovely. I often do a wobbly line in my journal but never done one on a card - think I will from now on.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Beet xx
