Smooshing the Blues

Welcome

Another month and another post - I think this year has been my slowest yet on the blog

This months challenge in our wee swap group was a monochrome blue - hmm, I think I may just have made a rather large oops, but it's mainly blue.

I started with some blue ink from another project on my glass work surface, sprayed it and blotted it up to make the background,
This was mounted on a blue base, after sponging the edge with the undiluted ink

The flower I came across in my stash whilst doing some sorting, already pre-cut...
I think it was from the Graphics Fairy site.

I embossed the sentiment using some very old, unmarked clear stamps,
then added clear rhinestones to the bloom as 'dew drops' and
blue rhinestones on the background for interest and a wee bit of sparkle

  2. We are slowing down, but still moving, so that's good, right, Maxine?! I got a chuckle out of your "mostly blue" and what a pretty use of blue it is! It makes the perfect background for your dewy flower! Hugs, Darnell
