Sunflowers and Prayers

Welcome – I think the computer issues that have kept me unable to blog are now resolved, thanks to my wonderful SIL!!
I was given this image of sunflowers to use by Cora over at Digital Two for Tuesday, and this is what eventuated.

The image was printed on cryogen curious metallics paper and coloured with chalks. The paper has ‘inbuilt’ glitter which shows through whatever medium you use to colour it, in this instance, I used chalks.

The image was cut and embossed using a Spellbinders Classic oval die, then mounted over die cuts from the Marvellous Squares and Floral Ovals sets in orange and golden yellow cards stock respectively.

After mounting these on a green card, I finished the card by stamping and gold embossing the sentiment from a deleted stamp set from Layers  of Color, and added two gold cut outs from the Cuttlebug Vintage Corners dies.
The final touch was to mount it all on a very dark brown base.

Thanks so much for visiting, and being patient while I had computer issues!
May your day be blessed.
Any comments you leave are greatly appreciated.
