Welcome
It is good to be back - I have been having a few 'issues' which delayed my return - not the least is that my computer does not like 'reading' my external hard drive where I store my photos!
I was inspired by this card here by Darlene McCallum, and decided to 'case' it (Change And Share Everything), the rules when 'casing' a card are that you must change at least two things.
The main change was that I used two not three layers, and my main colour is red not turquoise.
I also used a different poppy stamp
and over painted the watercolours with Iridescent Red and Green Twinkling H2O's.
The sentiment differs and is stamped directly onto the embossed panel. I also added some ribbon and pearls
Loved how this turned out!!
I am linking this to:
As You Like It Challenge - Favourite stamp - the sentiment,
one of my original stamps and frequently used, it is so elegant.
Thanks for visiting, and it is such and encouragement when you choose to leave a comment.
May your day be blessed.

Stunning, my friend! What a lovely cut-out to the card, such dimension it adds! A real beauty! Blessings!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card. I like your version best probably because I have a weakness for red poppies, and they do lend themselves to crafting! That is a particularly good poppy stamp too, with plenty of 'open space' for your own colouring. Kate x
