Welcome to my wee corner of the blogisphere
I have an engagement card to share today that I was asked to make.
The only instruction was that it was to be 'romantic' to suit the young couple.
I started with a fairly large tag which I distressed and sponged the edges of, and then gold embossed the sentiment on.
A large pink flower (that I have had so long I do not know where it came from) and some lace finished the tag.
The base of the card was some bright pink card, softened by an overlay of printed vellum, which I embossed with the word congratulations.
A few pink pearls and the card was finished.

Lovely card Maxine - a perfect scripture and perfect for this occasion! The colours are pretty - I am thinking the flower looks like a Wild Orchid one. Gorgeous! {{{hugs}}}
ReplyDeleteThe stamp you've used on that tag is absolutely STUNNING, Maxine. One of the prettiest stamps I've ever seen. I also want to take note of the AWESOME embossing you have done in gold on this card. Both the sentiment and the stamped tag are embossed absolutely PERFECTLY and without any flaw whatsoever. This is absolutely stunning to say the least. I am SO completely in love with this! Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this with us and please know how very grateful I am to have you share your amazing art with us. WOW, this is pretty. I just can't possibly tell you strongly enough how truly lovely this is, or how incredibly grateful I am to have you share it with us. Have a very blessed week, Maxine. I look forward to visiting you, and to hearing from you, again this week. May God bless you!
